Vision and Strategy

Our five Directors steer the ship, each passionate about healthy life-style and bringing a specific expertise to the Management Board.  Together with our stakeholder group made up of people representing local interests we’re committed to achieving a joint vision of sustainable and accessible sport for everyone.

Lyndall Newton-Early

Executive Director

Lyndall is Aussie born with a passionate belief that great sports opportunity should be accessible to all. Lyndall is a sports development specialist who has forged a successful career working in both the public and private sector.  Most recently with the Lawn Tennis Association, Chelsea Harbour Club and Hammersmith and Fulham Council. In a previous life she was pretty good with a tennis ball too.

Stephanie Ageorges

Non-executive Director

Stephanie is a French National for whom sports & physical activity have always contributed to her enjoyment of life and to her well-being. She is interested in introducing opportunities for community members to have fun via sports programmes. She is a HR/Talent Acquisition specialist who over the years, has recruited Senior professionals for some of the most prestigious organisations across Europe.

Ruth Blazye

Non-executive Director

Ruth is a Greenwich resident who enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors, with a real passion for wild swimming and gardening!  Ruth has spent most of her working life in Retail having worked for M&S, B&Q and now The Co-op, where she leads on the Co-op’s Community strategy and delivery. Ruth’s passions are firmly rooted in making local communities stronger.

Daniela Strebel

Non-executive Director

While Daniela is a competitive tennis player, organising and promoting senior’s match-play and competitive tennis in London, her day job is in financial regulation, advising on effective governance, compliance, organisation and financial and operational controls in banks and investment firms.

Phil Veasey

Non-executive Director

Phil is a public health, community engagement and sports development consultant with a track record of creating high impact and sustainable strategies and programmes in local communities. Phil currently sits on a number of public health boards and committees and is a thought leader who speaks regularly at conferences and events including BBC breakfast and the European Obesity Forums.
