Our coaching team are passionate about people and parks tennis. Whether you’re just getting started, after a few tips, or an in-depth analysis of your strokes we can support. Safeguarding, health and safety and coaching standards are taken very seriously, and our team are all LTA accredited and committed to their professional development.

Lyndall Newton-EarlyGrew up playing tennis in Australia and competed internationally. A huge array of coaching experience developed in a wide range of environments from high performance to schools. Passionate about getting more children and adults playing and volunteering in tennis. Super keen to see all players fulfil their potential, and in turn develop a lifetime love for the game!

Valentina Iancu
Grew up playing tennis in Romania and first picked up a racket at age seven. Proudest coaching moment was when one of her players became Romanian junior ranked number one. Especially enjoys coaching children and young people because of their never-ending energy, good vibes and willingness to learn. Loves working at the park because players can enjoy a healthy environment, surrounded by nature. Valentina’s career goal is to coach a champion of the future!

Greg - Tennis Coach
Greg Payne
Started playing tennis from the age of 5, joined a local club taking part in 
regular lessons for many years, growing a passion for the sport. Leading tosupporting the mens 2nd and 1st team since the age of 14, at which I was also unbeaten under 18 singles champion for 5 consecutive years. At age 15 I decided I wanted to coach tennis, leading me to starting my coaching qualification path. And ever since have been determined to use my skills to help players improve their game and reach their desired level.

TwistFizz Volunteers
Our volunteers are the heart and soul of TwistFizz, tirelessly investing time and skill into helping people of all ages live more active and healthier lives and creating facilities, programmes and service that are second to none!
Volunteers take on a variety of roles from on-court leaders, grounds maintenance to arranging social events. We wouldn’t be an organisation delivering on behalf of our communities without our volunteers.

Volunteer Opportunities
Family Tennis Activators
Every Sunday between April and December we run a free family tennis session right after the completion of the Junior Park Run. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers with an interest in tennis to run the morning session (9:30 – 10:30). You don’t need to be a great tennis player to run the session, and with a group of volunteers and a well organised rota you won’t be needed every week!

Every great idea needs supporters – people who actively want to spread the word and lend their support. People who want to encourage, lift and strengthen what we stand for
TwistFizz is no exception – as a community interest company, we need as many supporters as possible to branch out into our local community and act as ambassadors and advocates of TwistFizz and our aims.
Your support is invaluable to us as we strive to get as many local people spending more time in our local parks being active and enjoying the social cohesion this brings.
