Rules for Outdoor sports during COVID-19 Restrictions

The MUGA will open on 29 March 2021 following the Government’s Return to Play Guidelines to ensure sports and physical activity can be enjoyed safely during COVID-19 restrictions.

The MUGA will be available during the day for groups of up to six or two households for sport. Sport at the MUGA includes football, tennis and netball

On-line bookings for tennis can be made

Bookings for organised sports will be available by completing the application form at the bottom of this page.

Organised sports can happen in larger numbers when it’s run by a formal body, coach, club or charity.

Informal or self-organised sport is not covered by any exemptions and is limited to either 6 people or two households

 

A brand new MUGA in Cator Park, open and available for the local community to hire, run in partnership with Kidbrooke Village.  MUGA stands for multi-use games area. That means with advance notice we can arrange the space depending on your sport of choice.

The sports

The MUGA’s standard set up is one 5-a-side football pitch and two full-size tennis courts.  A netball or basketball court can be arranged upon advance request.

Tennis

During the summer months, there are 2 courts available for hire on Wednesday and Friday afternoon until 7pm. During the weekend between 9am – 7pm.

£6 per hour | flood-lit £10 per hour

5-side-football

There is one 5-a-side football pitch for hire every weekend and from 5 – 9pm Monday to Friday.

The second 5-a-side football pitch can be booked upon request. In theory there can be 2 5-a-side football pitches operating at the same time.

£30 per hour |  flood-lit £40 per hour

Netball 

The netball court can be booked upon request. That means we need to clear the tennis and football diary before play.

Netball £25 per hour | flood-lit £35 per hour
